"The important find of a new species for the mineralogy of Liguria has given the opportunity of revisiting Costa Sopramare (Cantarana Valley), Levanto, La Spezia, Liguria, Italy, an old classical locality, offering not only microminerals but also aesthetic samples of well crystallised zeolites. Levyne-Ca was identified for the first time in Liguria in millimetric crystals with perfect shape. The levyne-Ca find also gave us the opportunity of reviewing some other zeolitic species. Datolite and thomsonite-Ca represent the first occurrence for the
locality." (Bracco et al., 2005)
