"Auf Dickel" (einschl. Nonnental), Rockeskyller Vulkankomplex, Rockeskyll, Gerolstein, Eifel, Rheinland-Pfalz, Deutschland

Eroded tuffs of a carbonatite and phonolite volcanism with several eruptive centres. Megacrysts (sanidine, augite) and xenoliths (Devonian basement, micaschist, crystalline schist, gneiss, sanidinite, subvolcanite, carbonatite-like rocks) on the fields in the area called “Auf Dickel”, as well as north and south of “Nonnental”
Located about 500 – 1000 m NW and W of Rockeskyll, on the east slope of Rockeskyller Kopf mountain.
