A former underground Mn mine.
Mineralization is seams, veinlets and nodules of Mn ore in the Supai formation. The ore occurs is small, disseminated nodules, thin seams and veinlets ranging from 2 to 12 inches wide, located within the fractured zones. Nodules of Mn oxides are plentiful in the sedimentary rocks.
