A roadcut with an outcrop of vaguely banded high-grade metapelitic rock belonging to the charnocktic Precambrian of Rogaland, SW of Norway. Coarse-grained quartz-feldspar bands alternate with pinkish-violet bands with osumilite and other minerals.
