Located about 20 miles N-NE of Cokeville.

Ag,Au,Cu,Pb.

Structure: North-Northwest Trending Anticline Northerly Trending Low Angle Absaroka Thrust Fault.

Alteration: Mineralization Is In Sandstone That Was Originally Red But Subsequently Was Altered To Gray, Brown, Black And Green

Tectonics: Overthrust Belt

Development: Last production approximately 1920. An attempt was made during world war ii to initiate operations but failed. No further attempts were made As of 1970.

Geology: Oil staining; some azurite and malachite mineralization occurs in a 6 inch siltstone parting between sandstones.

Rock formation(s): Nugget;Nugget


Ore(s): Fractures In The Brittle Sandstone May Control Ore Mineral Transport.
