An amethyst mine discovered in 1925 by Jim McDaniels First produced 1942. Property under claim circa 2003.

Mineralization is in brecciated fault zones. Host rock is the Mazatzal Quartzite, Bidahochi formation. A roof pendant of Mazatzal group quartzite on Mazatzal granite folded into a syncline. Remnant of a large Precambrian thrust sheet.
