A lead-silver mine located in the central part of the Texas District, at an elevation of 8300'.West of the Pittsburgh-Idaho Mine.
Discovered in 1880,idled 1889-1908,closed 1926,leased in 1948,closed in 1952.
Mined on 8 major levels and 4 sublevels(700-level,deepest).Underground workings are presently inaccessible.
Production records are incomplete, and are estimated at:30,000 to 32,000 tons of ore.
