Blue Bonanza Mine, Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska, USA
Located on the divide between Sheep Creek and Nugget Creek at an elevation of 1900',in the NW1/4 NE1/4,section 25,T.1 N.,R.3 W.,Fairbanks Meridian.Ore was minedfrom an inclined shaft 30'deep from a rich quartz vein 18" thick at the surface and narrowed with depth,richest ore was concentrated in a zone 12-15'below the surface.
Gold was visible both near and remote from the sulfides galena,pyrite and stibnite.Silver was present in tetrahedrite.
