Dokolwayo Mine (Dvokolwayo Mine), Dokolwayo, Lubombo District, Swaziland

A diamond mine in a kimberlite pipe, owned by De Beers. The deposit was discovered in 1975 as a result of following up an earlier discovery of diamond-bearing grits and gravels. Production was started in 1984 and ceased at the end of 1996, when it became uneconomic. Between 1990 and 1996, the mine had produced between 42,500 ct and 76,100 ct of diamonds per year.
