Sakeny-Sud phlogopite deposit (Ampasimaika), Ihosy Department, Horombe Region, Fianarantsoa Province, Madagascar

(Sakeny-Atsimo, Departementa Ihosy, Horombe Region, Fianarantsoa Province, Madagasikara)

A phlogopite deposit situated about 90 km NW of the town Ihosy. The phlogopite is found in a N-S going "pyroxenite" body about 10 m broad. The mica here occurs with a bottlegreen colour.
The deposit has also been named Ampasimaika.
