Manambaroa phlogopite deposit, Ihosy Department, Horombe Region, Fianarantsoa Province, Madagascar

(Manambaroa, Departementa Ihosy, Horombe Region, Fianarantsoa Province, Madagasikara)

Situated 38 km N-W of the town Ihosy on the left side of the Manambaroa river. Produced 12 tonnes of mica in 1927. The mica was found in a "pyroxenite"-body about 40 m large that could be follwed for about 2 km
