A LCT pegmatite prospected by the Commisariat á l 'Énergie in the 1950s, situated about 55 km NNE of the town Ankazobe, N of the capitol, Antananarivo and W of Vohambohitra, on the left side of the Betsiboka River.
Large beryl crystals of beryl up to 100 kg were found here in 1971.
