Falconbridge Mine, Sudbury District (Sudbury Complex; Sudbury nickel irruptive), Ontario, Canada

A nickel mine owned by Falconbridge Nickel Mines, Ltd. Ore is in the Sudbury nickel irruptive. Mine was started 1928, attained a depth of at least 4,000 feet (1,300 meters) and closed June, 1984.
