Blue Cap Mine, Paradox Valley District, Paradox Valley, San Juan Co., Utah, USA

Ore is disseminated and has replaced organic contents (wood or bone) in the Salt Wash Member of the Morrison Formation. The maximum length of the workings are 600 ft with numerous ore shoots, holes, and inclines to ore bodies on both sides of the tunnel. Many of the ore bodies are restricted to paleochannels.
