Howey Mine, Red Lake, Red Lake Gold District, Kenora District, Ontario, Canada

A gold mine located on the South shore of Red Lake, 50 miles East of the Ontario-Manitoba border. Mineralization is a quartz porphyry dike with quartz-filled fractures.
Active 1930 to 1941.
