A tin mine working fine-grained cassiterite from east-west trending veins hosted in shale, at elevations between 3,400 and 3,700 meters on the southwest flank of Chicote Grande Mt.
Famous among Bolivian collectors for its octahedral pyrite "floaters", up to 8 cm in size, from clay fault gouge.
