An iron mine in magnetite ore located about 1 mile SE of Hibernia. Started about 1808, restarted 1851 and again 1868-1875, 1879- Sep 1885, 1896, 1898-1900, and finally closed in 1903. Featured 3 shafts by 1900. Exploited 2 ore veins.
