Ref.: The Iron Mines of New Jersey (1910), Bayley:11, 491-492; NJ State Geol. Annual Rpts.: (1878):99; (1879):41. A small mine that produced only between 22 and 30 tons of magnetite ore. Located near Morris Plains. Featured a shaft 25 feet deep.
