An iron mine operated 1912 - 1945 by the Munro Iron Mining Co. and later the M. A. Hanna Co., working in the Riverton Iron-Formation. Two levels were worked to 450 ft. below the surface. Water ingress was problematic. Underground operation ceased in 1937.
The Rogers Mine property includes the Blair property in SW Sec. 29, the Erickson in SW Sec. 21, the Swanson property in S1/2-NE Sec. 29, Schiebler in NE-NE Sec. 29, Paulsen in NW-NE Sec. 29, and the White property in E1/2-NW Sec. 29, T43N-R34W. The workings were centered on the Swanson.
