An iron mine in magnetite ore located on the slope of Schooleys Mtn about ½ mile (.9 km) West of Ledgewood. Started and closed 1880 & again in 1883.

Ore vein was 6 feet wide on the NW end and 6 to 20 feet wide on the SE end. Workings featured 2 shafts (SE = 55 feet deep; NW = 30 feet deep).
