An iron mine in magnetite ore located on Mine Hill, East of Succasunna. Started before 1853 and abandoned 1873, reopened before 1879 and closed 1880. Ore deposit was 3 layers of ore (top = 4 feet thick; 2nd. = 8 feet thick; 3rd. = lean magnetitic pegmatite) Workings were 30 feet deep by 1853.
