Refd.: The Iron Mines of New Jersey (1910), Bayley:389; NJ State Geol. Annual Rpts.: (1855):202-206 & 209-210; (1868):577-578. An iron mine in magnetite ore located at the South end of the Hubbard vein near Irondale. Started before 1855. Ore vein was 1 to 14 feet (.3 to 4.2 meters) wide. Workings featured an opening 600 feet long by 200 feet deep.Mineral List
