Ref.: Zodac, P. (1946b), Rocks & Min.: 21:416-417; Dunn, P.J. (1995), Pt 2:169. A limestone quarry in Precambrian Franklin marble. Owned by the White Rock Lime and Cement Co., then Bethlehem Steel Co. (WWI), and Farber White Limestone Co.
This locality consisted of 2 quarries. The smaller one is at the southern end of a ridge that terminates just at the north edge of McAfee. Its high wall is very visible. The larger quarry is a few hundred yards to the north and was incorporated into a golf course in the 1970's.
