This mine is the smallest of the mine group - a short adit and a small drift/stope. The dumps near the entrance, along the brook banking, are small in volume because of this. (Persistent rumors that the waste rock from this mine was carted to the Old Mine for dumping are not true. The "paydirt" ore was carted to the Old Mine and added to stockpiles there for shipping - not waste rocks. The mine is as small as it seems.)
