An iron mine in magnetite ore located on Mine Hill East of Succasunna. Started & closed before 1855; reopened about 1856 and closed after 1873, then 1880-1883. Ore body was 2 to 5 feet at the surface and 5 feet wide at depth. Workings featured a 200 foot deep cut and a 255 foot deep shaft (1880).
