A former Fe mine in magnetite ore. One of the Ringwood group of mines. Started about 1883, closed 1884; reopened 1886-1890, pillars robbed and closed 1891, worked 1899. Ore shoot was 20 feet high by 10 feet wide; 3 new shoots were discovered 1905 (8 feet, 10 feet & 16 feet wide).
