Photo: Bill Dameron Porphyritic microgranite disseminated by baryte veins. In the late 19th century, this locality was well known as an occurrence of perfect Carlsbad twinned orthoclase crystals. Baryte is mainly found at Bois de la Courtade, an area in the northeastern part of the ravine. Located 5 to 6 km NNE of Issoire.
