A railroad cut through Bergen Hill (Palisades Diabase)(circa 1880's ?), in the Mt Pleasant section of Jersey City, near the city center at Journal Square. More recently used by Conrail after the bankruptcy of the Pennsylvania railroad, and also now used by the PATH commuter railroad system.
