A former underground Cu-Ag-Au mine located in the center E½ sec. 24, T1S, R12E, about ½ mile SW of Kings Crown Peak, N of Superior, on private land. The location was measured to the adit on the Black Diamond claim in Yellow Jacket Wash. Production occurred during the period 1927-1940. Operated by R. Yslas and J.S. Abril (1940). Prior owner/operators: Black Diamond Mining Co. (1927). NOTE: The physical description of the deposit's location do not match the MRDS-provided value for the latitude. The value of 33°15'20" places this deposit about 3½ miles S of Superior, nowhere near Kings Crown Peak. The value is most probably 33°20'15".

Mineralization is hosted in Martin Limestone and diorite. Probably diseminated veinlets like the Silver King Mine deposit. The deposit is in a quartz diorite body S of the Silver King Quartz Diorite Porphyry. Devonian Martin Limestone and Precambrian diabase occur directly S of the mine.

Area structures include Devonian Martin Limestone and Precambrian diabase directly south of the mine.
