Located west of the Manambolo River,about 12 km south of Andranondambo.
Listed in Behier (1960) as one of the thorianite deposite in the "Esiva region" together with Ambakitany, Ankazoabo, Esiva, Andriandambo, Bemanteza and Ankilivalo
