Duncan area Diatomite deposits, Steeple Rock District (Duncan District), Greenlee Co., Arizona, USA

A diatomite occurrence located in sec. 12, T8S, R31E, outcrops on the N side of the Gila River just N of Duncan.

Mineralization is lacustrine diatomite deposit. Horizontal diatomite beds interbedded with clay crop out in low cliffs.
