Best claim, Cove Canyon, Pinaleño Mts, Aravaipa District, Graham Co., Arizona, USA

A surface U prospect located in the SE¼ sec. 16, T10S, R25E, just S of highway 266 at the entrance to Cove Canyon. NOTE: The preceding physical description of the location of this property does not match the coordinates provided in the same MRDS file. The coordinates place the location much further to the east and somewhat further north, at the southern end of Gila Valley. R25E would also seemingly be in this vicinity, farther east than the Pinaleño Mountains and route 266.

Mineralization is radioactive NW-trending shears in Precambrian granite near a contact with a Middle Tertiary granitic pluton.

Workings include shallow pits. Drilled in 1979.
