‡The Mission Mine is an underground mine near the bottom of the Mission open pit and is one of the contiguous active mining operations in the Mission Complex (which see for further details).
Workings include a helical adit for access to the underground by 80-ton capacity, diesel-powered haulers. Ore removal is by the block caving method.
