Unnamed Pb-Zn prospect (2), Aravaipa, Santa Teresa Mts, Aravaipa District, Graham Co., Arizona, USA

A surface Pb-Zn prospect located in sec. 36, T5S, R19E, 2000 feet N of Aravaipa.

Mineralization is a tabular ore body hosted in a breccia zone at a contact between Escabrosa Limestone and Bolsa Quartzite. An associated rock unit is the Copper Creek Granodiorite. Ore concentration was fissure filling.

Area structures include block faulting trending NNW. Regional trends: minor Pre-Cretaceous E- and NE-trending folds and major Post-Cretaceous NNW-trending faults.
