Münstertal, Schwarzwald, Baden-Württemberg, Deutschland
Münstertal is the name of both a town and the valley in which this town is located. To complicate matters, though, a major part of the valley belongs to the municipality of Staufen, while the municipality of Münstertal mostly encompasses the valleys of its confluences, including the area around Willnau, on the southwest slope of Schauinsland mountain. To simplify things, the database entry for "Münstertal" lists all localities within the valley and its catchment, including the localities near Staufen, Kropbach and Etzenbach, which actually belong to the municipality of Staufen. However, we have excluded the localities near Willnau, which form part of the Schauinsland lead-zinc mining district.
