A former surface and underground asbestos mine located in sec. 27, T7N, R15E, about 2¾ miles ENE of Castle Peak, just W of the Fort Apache Indian Reservation boundary line.
Mineralization is ore in lenses hosted in the Mescal Limestone.
Area structures include a NW-SE-trending fault about ½ mile south of the camp, whose downthrow is on the NE and probably less than 100 feet, cuts across the property.
