Ishisoko, Ishigaki Island, Okinawa Prefecture, Nansei Archipelago, Kyushu Region, Japan
A small hill here, 21 meters high, base 61 x 46 meters, composed of calcite marble of the Paleozoic Fusaki Formation, somewhat resembling the marbles of the Motobu Peninsula on Okinawa Island. This is a rather unusual occurence in the Fusaki Formation, which is mostly composed of schists and metachert.Mineral List
