Forster Prospect, Weld river, Huon district, Tasmania, Australia

A small prospect first found in about 1877, with some shafts and a short adit. It was mostly prospected for gold, but zinc, nickel and osmiridium mineralisation is also recorded, associated with altered serpentineite conglomerates, skarns, and silicified dolostones.
