Murrays Reward mine, Balfour, Balfour-Temma district, Tasmania, Australia

An abandoned old underground copper mine, mostly worked pre-WW1. The ore occurs as massive chalcopyrite and pyrite in a fault zone in siltstones.
It was reopened briefly by open cut in the 1980's.
