Ankerotsy thorianite deposit, Tranomaro Commune, Amboasary District, Anosy (Fort Dauphin) Region, Tuléar (Toliara) Province, Madagascar

At Ankerotsy there has been several small workings (total 5) after thorianite embedded in a mineralized marble (cipolin).The most important is the deposit called "Ankerotsy I-D". The localities is situated about 10 km south of Tranomaro in the southeastern part of Madagascar.
