A deposit with a lazulite-bearing metaquartzite. Pieces for ornamental use (mostly polished eggs and spheres for solitaire games) have been taken out here in a small scale. It is situated about 500m NNE of the summit of Mt. Ibity and about 2 km W of the village Manandona in the central highland of Madagascar.
