Kasompi Mine (Menda Mine; Kasompi Hill), Swambo, Central area, Katanga Copper Crescent, Katanga (Shaba), Democratic Republic of Congo (Zaïre)

A Ni-Cu-Co deposit on Kasompi hill, worked during the 1940's and 1950's. This deposit is one of a group of deposits in an area located about 100 km W of Kambove and about 35 km NW of Swambo.
Note: Menda is just a nearby village. This name is sometimes erroneously used for Kasompi.
