Some small fluorite and calcite veins were found during contruction of the new RN 66 road ("Route Nationale" 66) in the vicinity of "Les Meix" village, near Rupt-sur-Moselle.
At present, four small veins were located in the granitic rock. The large Maxonchamp vein is probably responsible for the presence of fluorite in the granitic fractures.
