Narverud gruver, Nedre Eiker kommune, Buskerud fylke, Norge
Iron mines located on the hill Narverudåsen, about 190 m above the sealevel, south of Fegata in Nedre Eiker municipality. They were worked in periods from about 1697 til 1913. Narverud mines consist of 3 separate mines, in a 125 m long area going from east to west: Dronning Mauds Shaft (stoll), Kong Haakons Shaft (stoll) and the Third Mine (Tredje gruve). These were before the year 1905 called Narverud Grube (Narverud Mine), Gamle Narverud Grube (Old Narverud Mine) and Store Narverud Grube (The large Narverud Mine) respectively. Beside these 3, there are about 10 small prospects in the area.
