Commodities (Major) - Iron
Development Status: Past Producer

Located a mile and a half southeast of Elkridge, on the south side of I-295, are three ore banks formerly worked by the Plumbmer brothers. The most northerly one was worked for ten years starting around 1891. Both iron ore and paint ore were obtained. The other two were opened around the 1870's by Meyer Rowles, and later owned and worked by the Plumbmers.
