British Columbia is an odd province as there are no Counties and no Townships, let alone lots or concessions. Thus a locality would read Mine, closest Town or Lake etc., B.C., Canada. The British Columbia Dept of Mines introduced 24 Mining Divisions that roughly play the role of counties and these will be used here. All localities should be verified with the B.C. Dept of Mines on-line program Minfile.
