A former underground Cu-Ag-Au mine. Produced 1943-1949.
Mineraliztion is a lens-shaped ore body hosted in the Deception Rhyolite,quartz porphyry, and the Grapevine Gulch Formation. Ore control was stratigraphy and igneous activity. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. Alteration included chloritization and sericitization.
Area structures include massive sulphide lenses elongate parallel to bedding in metavolcanic rocks, which trends N10W to N40W.
