Large-scale granitoid-related vein-type gold deposit, hosted in Archean granulite, hypersthene granite and tonalite that are intruded by the NE trending Mesozoic Zhuanxianghu quartz diorite. The deposit consists of gold-bearing quartz veins controlled by faults. There are two types of orebodies, quartz-pyrite and quartz-base metallic sulphide types, and four stages of mineralization, namely, quarz vein, base metallic sulphides, fine galena and micro-veinlets. The deposit is interpreted as a magmatic hydrothermal deposit formed during the Mesozoic.
