Au-Ag epithermal vein deposit, hosted in strata of metamorphic rocks of the Permian Miaoling and Kedao Formations, and volcanic rocks of the Late Jurassic Tuntianying Formation. The intrusions in the area include Later Hercynian granodiorite, late Hercynian-Early Indosinian monzonite and potassic granite, and mafic-felsic stocks and dikes. The deposit consists mainly of small orebodies up to several tens of meters long and several tens of centimeters to several meters wide. The ore minerals exhibit crystalline, metasomatic, and cataclastic textures, and occur in breccia, veinlets, masses, dense disseminations, and crystal druse-combs. Adjacent alterations are silica, carbonate, sericite, chlorite, and kaolinite alterations. The orebodies are controlled by interformational fault zones and are stratiform, bedded and veined.
