Polymetallic Pb-Zn-(Cu-Ba-Ag-Au) volcanic-hosted metasomatite, consisting of discontinuous veins or lenses in faults cutting a Mesozoic volcanic basin. Granite predates deposition. Subvolcanic rock includes quartz porphyry, rhyolite porphyry, diorite porphyry, quartz diorite, andesite porphyry, and dacite porphyry. The orebodies are controlled by NW-trending faults. The ore minerals occur in masses, layers, disseminations, druses, and brecciae. Alterations include silica, barite, minor chlorite, carbonate, sericite, and pyrophyllite alterations. The deposit is interpreted as related to subvolcanic hydrothermal fluids.
